Mod GRF 1-29 · QSC Peptides
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analog with 4 stabilizing substitutions. Without DAC (Mod GRF 1-29): ~30 min t½ for pulsatile GH research. With DAC: 6–8 day t½ via albumin binding. QSC Peptides offers 5mg and 10mg vials — ≥99% purity, free USA shipping.
CJC-1295 is derived from the first 29 amino acids of GHRH with four amino acid substitutions: A2Gly, A8Aib, K12Arg, R29Lys. These changes confer resistance to dipeptidylpeptidase IV (DPP-IV) cleavage — the primary plasma degradation pathway for native GHRH — while preserving GHRH receptor binding affinity.
Binding to the GHRH receptor (GHRHR) — a Gs-protein-coupled receptor on pituitary somatotrophs — activates adenylyl cyclase, raises intracellular cAMP, activates PKA, phosphorylates CREB, and drives GH gene transcription. Simultaneously, IP3-mediated Ca²⁺ release triggers GH granule exocytosis.
The DAC-free form retains a plasma half-life of approximately 30 minutes, closely approximating the natural GHRH pulse. This supports research into physiological pulsatile GH release and GHRHR desensitization kinetics. QSC Peptides offers No DAC in 5mg and 10mg vials.
The DAC linker (maleimidoproprionic acid–lysine extension) forms a reversible non-covalent bond with serum albumin (HSA), extending the half-life to 6–8 days. This enables chronic research protocols requiring sustained GH axis stimulation without frequent administration. QSC Peptides offers DAC form in 5mg vials.
CJC-1295 acts on GHRHR; secretagogues like Ipamorelin act on GHSR-1a. Combining both targets two distinct GH-stimulating pathways, producing additive to synergistic GH pulse amplification — the basis of the QSC Peptides GH Stack blend.
CJC-1295 is widely used in GH axis research across pituitary pharmacology, chronic GH elevation models, and combination peptide studies.
