QSC Peptides · Potent GHSR-1a
GHRP-2 (Pralmorelin, KP-102) is a potent synthetic hexapeptide GHSR-1a agonist producing among the strongest GH pulses of any synthetic secretagogue. Also elevates cortisol and prolactin moderately — distinct from the clean profile of Ipamorelin. QSC Peptides offers 5mg and 10mg vials.
GHRP-2 (D-Ala-D-2Nal-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂, Pralmorelin, KP-102) is a synthetic hexapeptide acting as a potent agonist at GHSR-1a (ghrelin receptor) on pituitary somatotrophs and hypothalamic neurons. Receptor activation drives Gq → PLC → IP3 → intracellular Ca²⁺ → GH granule exocytosis, and additionally suppresses somatostatin tone.
GHRP-2 produces among the strongest GH pulses of any synthetic secretagogue, but unlike Ipamorelin, it also activates secondary pathways that elevate cortisol (moderate) and prolactin (moderate) by engaging corticotroph and lactotroph receptors at higher concentrations. This broader receptor pharmacology is scientifically useful for studying the full spectrum of GHSR-1a effector biology, including HPA axis interactions.
GHRP-2 has higher GH release potency but less receptor selectivity. Ipamorelin is preferred for isolated GH research; GHRP-2 is preferred when studying broader ghrelin receptor pharmacology including stress axis interactions. Both are available from QSC Peptides.
