QSC Peptides
Sermorelin (hGHRH(1-29)-NH₂) consists of the first 29 amino acids of GHRH — the shortest fragment retaining full GHRHR activity. Stimulates pituitary GH secretion via cAMP-PKA signaling. QSC Peptides offers 5mg and 10mg vials, ≥99% purity, free USA shipping.
Sermorelin is hGHRH(1-29)-NH₂ — the first 29 amino acids of human Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone, the minimum sequence required for full GHRH receptor binding and activation.
It binds the GHRH receptor (GHRHR), a Gs-protein-coupled receptor on anterior pituitary somatotroph cells. Binding activates adenylyl cyclase → cAMP → PKA → phosphorylation of CREB → GH gene transcription and pulsatile secretion. Ca²⁺ channel opening drives GH granule exocytosis.
Endogenous GHRH is 44 amino acids; Sermorelin retains only the first 29 — sufficient for full GHRHR activation. Unlike CJC-1295, Sermorelin has no amino acid substitutions, making it the closest synthetic approximation to a native GHRH pulse. Its shorter half-life (~10–20 min) requires more frequent dosing in research but produces cleaner pulsatile dynamics.
